Leila Al Solh
Leila Al Solh (; born 1946) is the vice president of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation, Alwaleed bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation and a former Lebanese minister of industry. Early life and education Born in Beirut in 1946, Leila Al Solh is the youngest daughter of the late former List of prime ministers of Lebanon, Lebanese Prime Minister Riad Al Solh, and his wife Fayza Al Jabiri. Leila Al Solh is the aunt of Al-Waleed bin Talal, Al Waleed bin Talal. Leila Al Solh studied at the department of oriental studies of Saint Joseph University, Beirut. Career Leila Al Solh served as the minister of industry in the Second Cabinet of Omar Karami, cabinet led by Prime Minister of Lebanon, Prime Minister Omar Karami from 2004 to 2005, making her one of the early woman ministers in Lebanon. Bassam Yammine
Bassam Yammine (; born 1968) is a Lebanese economist and former CEO of Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia. Early life and education Yammine was born into a Maronite family. He obtained bachelor of arts and master's degrees from Loyola Marymount University. Then he received an MBA degree in finance from the University of Chicago in 1994. Career Yammine began his career as deputy chairman of Li Venture Sal, the first venture capital firm in Lebanon, from 1995 to 2004. He later served as an advisor at the ministry of health from 1997 to 2000 in Lebanon. He was appointed minister of industry to the cabinet led by then prime minister Najib Mikati in 2005. Elias (Elie) Skaff ( Arabic: الياس سكاف; born 11 October 1948 – 10 October 2015) was a Lebanese politician and leader of the Popular Bloc. Early years and education Elias Skaff was born in Zahlé, Lebanon on 11 October 1948. He is the son of the leader and ex-minister Joseph Tohme Skaff. His mother is Helena Nilacos who is of the Greek nationality. Elias Skaff received elementary education in Zahle and then in New Zealand. In 1965, he attended the Evangelical School in Zahle and then the International School of Choueifat – Lebanon. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the American University of Beirut in 1975.
