Leif Sande
Leif Audun Sande (born 18 September 1953) is a Norwegian trade unionist and politician for the Socialist Left and Labour parties. He hails from Lindås. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Hordaland during the terms 1985–1989, 1989–1993 and 1993–1997. He was the vice president of the Norwegian Oil and Petrochemical Union from 1985 and president from 2000. In 2006 it merged to form Industri Energi, and Sande was president here until 2017. The Norwegian Oil and Petrochemical Union ( no, Norsk Olje- og Petrokjemisk Fagforbund, NOPEF) was a trade union representing workers in the oil and petrochemical sector in Norway. The union was founded in 1977, and immediately affiliated to the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. By 1996, it had 12,334 members. Industri Energi
Industri Energi (Norwegian for "Industry Energy") is a Norwegian trade union for employees in the petroleum industry, the chemical industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the aluminium and metal industry and the forest industry. The union is a member of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO). It was founded in 2006 with the merger of the Norwegian Union of Chemical Industry Workers and the Norwegian Oil and Petrochemical Union. On founding, it had 45,000 members. Like both its predecessors, it affiliated to the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. The Association for Administrative, Leadership and Technical Positions merged in during 2008, while at the start of 2009, the Norwegian Union of Wood Workers merged in. The Socialist Left Party ( no, Sosialistisk Venstreparti, sme, Sosialisttalaš Gurutbellodat, SV) is a democratic socialist political party in Norway. Lindås
Lindås is a former municipality in the Nordhordland district in the old Hordaland county, Norway. It existed from 1838 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020 when it was merged into the new Alver Municipality. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Knarvik, located in the southwestern part of the municipality. Other notable villages in the municipality included Alversund, Isdalstø, Lindås, Ostereidet, and Seim. The Mongstad industrial area in extreme northern Lindås has one of the largest oil refineries and largest seaports in Norway. The oil refinery at Mongstad is by far the largest employer in the municipality. Prior to its dissolution in 2020, the municipality is the 213th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Hordaland () was a county in Norway, bordering Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Telemark, and Rogaland counties. Hordaland was the third largest county, after Akershus and Oslo, by population. Frode Alfheim (born 25 July 1967 in Dønna) is a Norwegian trade unionist and president of the Norwegian trade union Industri Energi from 2017. He was the deputy chairman of its predecessor Norwegian Oil and Petrochemical Union (NOPEF) from 2004 to 2006, union-political area head for Industri Energi between 2006 and 2010, and deputy chairman of Industri Energi from 2010 to 2017.
