Leif-Arne Langøy
Leif Arne Langøy (born 1956) is a Norwegian businessperson. Since 2003 he has been chief executive officer, and since 2006 also chair, of Aker, and holds several board positions within the group, and is chair of Aker Holding, Aker Seafoods, Aker Drilling, Aker Floating Production, Aker BioMarine and Aker Exploration, and is board member of TRG Holding, Aker Solutions and Aker Philadelphia Shipyard. Langøy was educated with a ''siviløkonom'' degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Aker Solutions
Aker Solutions ASA is a Norwegian engineering firm headquartered in Oslo. The firm's production is focused on energy infrastructure, including systems and services required to de-carbonize oil and gas production, build wind-to-grid infrastructure and engineer capture and sequestration. Founded in 1841 as Akers Mekaniske Verksted, the company has been known as Aker, Aker Kvaerner and Aker Solutions (2008). Aker Kværner was founded in 2004 from the major restructuring of a complex "Aker Kværner" business unit formed in 2002 by the merger of Aker Maritime and Kværner Oil & Gas. The company was majority controlled by Aker ASA until 2007. Siviløkonom () is an academic degree issued within the field of business administration. It consists of a 3 year bachelor's degree followed by a two years masters degree and is also a professional title in Norway (with corresponding titles in Denmark and Sweden, see below under "See also"), obtained after the total of 5 years of studies.
