Lego Brick Sketches
Lego Brick Sketches is a Lego theme that recreates iconic characters as stylised portraits. The theme was first introduced in June 2020. Following the launch of Lego DOTS, a theme mainly targeted towards children, the Lego Brick Sketches theme is the first bas-relief portraits concept to be launched by the Lego Group in 2020. Overview The product line focuses on brick-built portraits. Each set measures over 5 inches (13 cm) high, 3 inches (9 cm) wide and 1 inch (3 cm) deep and contains at least 170 pieces. Built upon 12 × 16 baseplates, each portrait is formed using either round 1 × 1 tiles or round 1 × 1 plates. It also includes a retractable stand for desktop display and a 2 × 2 inch coupling plate to hang the sketch on a wall to support the portraits. Lego ''BrickHeadz'' is a Lego theme that recreates iconic characters from themes like DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Star Wars and Disney as buildable characters. The theme was first introduced in 2016. Overview The product line focuses on the buildable characters. Each set measures over 2” (7 cm) tall and contains at least 143 pieces. The legs are 4 plates high and are usually constructed from four 1x2 plates. The torso is usually constructed on a 4x4 plate, and is two bricks and one plate high. The arms are usually formed around a 2x2 plate and a 11476 Plate 1x2 W. 1 Horizontal Snap for the hand. Lego Art is a Lego theme introduced in 2020. It offers sets based on iconic personalities and characters in pop culture, allowing builders to reproduce them in a mosaic-like format using Lego 1x1 studs. Following the launch of Lego DOTS, a theme mainly targeted towards children, the Lego Art theme is the second 2D tile creative concept to be launched by The Lego Group in August 2020. Overview The product line focuses on the artwork portraits. Each set is 48x48 studs in size and contains at least 2,900 pieces. Built upon nine 16x16 baseplates and connected by Lego Technic pins, each mosaic is formed using either round 1x1 tiles or round 1x1 plates. Although each set offers more than one design variation, they are unable to be built simultaneously. Some sets also give builders the option to combine multiples of the same set to create a larger piece. A wall hanging element is included for builders to hang the completed mosaic up.
