Lega Siaka
Lega Siaka (born 21 December 1992) is a Papua New Guinean cricketer, who plays for the national team mainly as a right-handed batsman. International career Siaka made his One Day International (ODI) debut on 8 November 2014 against Hong Kong in Australia. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Ireland in the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament on 15 July 2015. He became the first player from Papua New Guinea to score an ODI century. In April 2017, he scored his maiden first-class century, in round five of the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup against the United Arab Emirates. In August 2018, his name was included in Papua New Guinea's squad for Group A of the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 East Asia-Pacific Qualifier tournament. (; Tok Pisin: ''Pot Mosbi''), also referred to as Pom City or simply Moresby, is the capital and largest city of Papua New Guinea. 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup
The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, co-hosted by Cricket West Indies and USA Cricket from 1 to 29 June 2024. It was the first major ICC tournament to include matches played in the United States. The West Indies had previously hosted the 2010 competition. A total of twenty teams competed in 55 matches across six venues in the West Indies, and three in the United States. The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the seventh edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20, a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place from 17 October to 14 November 2021. The tournament was hosted by United Arab Emirates and Oman. It was scheduled to be hosted by Australia in 2020 but later postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier
The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine the teams that would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. 2019 Pacific Games
The 16th Pacific Games (), also known as Apia 2019, were held from 7 to 20 July 2019. The Games were held in Apia, Samoa, returning there for the first time since 2007. It was the third time overall that the Pacific Games were held in Samoa. The event was initially awarded to Nukuʻalofa, Tonga, but the Tongan government officially withdrew from hosting it in May 2017, amid concerns the country could face economic difficulties if it proceeded. A men's Twenty20 cricket tournament at the 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa, was held from 8 to 13 July 2019 at the Faleata Oval Grounds. Following the International Cricket Council's decision to grant T20I status to all matches played between Associate Members after 1 January 2019, matches were eligible for Twenty20 International (T20I) status subject to both teams being members of the ICC and players passing eligibility criteria. The team's involved in the men's tournament were the host nation Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and New Caledonia. Tonga and the Cook Islands were originally included, but withdrew and were replaced by New Caledonia. Matches involving New Caledonia did not have T20I status as they were not an Associate Member of the ICC.
