Lee Garbett
Lee Garbett is a British comic book artist born in the West Midlands. He has worked on British comics. As of February 2011, he is working freelance after a period of exclusivity with DC Comics. Career He created the 4-issue mini-series ''Dark Mists'' with Annika Eade, which follows a group of Geisha blackmailed into becoming assassins. After AP Comics folded the title was picked up and reprinted by Markosia. Lee left the series after issue No. 3 and moved to '' 2000 AD'', most notably on the series ''London Falling'', co-created with Simon Spurrier. He also worked on a ''Judge Dredd'' strip for the Judge Dredd Megazine. He then moved to US publisher, DC Comics and their Wildstorm imprint. There he first worked on '' The Highwaymen'' before working with Keith Giffen on ''Midnighter'' and the DC/Wildstorm Universe crossover '' Dreamwar''. Keith Giffen
Keith Ian Giffen (born November 30, 1952) is an American comics artist and writer. He is known for his work for DC Comics on their ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' and ''Justice League'' titles as well as for being the co-creator of Lobo. Biography Keith Giffen was born in Queens, New York. His first published work was "The Sword and The Star", a black-and-white text story featured in ''Marvel Preview'' #4 (Jan. 1976), with writer Bill Mantlo. Giffen and Mantlo created Rocket Raccoon in ''Marvel Preview'' #7 (Summer 1976). Giffen is best known for his long runs illustrating and later writing the ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' title in the 1980s and 1990s. Giffen and writer Paul Levitz crafted "The Great Darkness Saga" in ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' vol. 2, #290–294 in 1982. Dark Mists
Darkness, the direct opposite of lightness, is defined as a lack of illumination, an absence of visible light, or a surface that absorbs light, such as black or brown. Human vision is unable to distinguish colors in conditions of very low luminance. This is because the hue sensitive photoreceptor cells on the retina are inactive when light levels are insufficient, in the range of visual perception referred to as scotopic vision. Deadpool is an antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in '' New Mutants'' #98 (cover-dated Feb. 1991). ''Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne'' is a 6-issue American comic book limited series published by DC Comics beginning in May to November 2010, written by Grant Morrison and featuring a team of rotating artists starting with Chris Sprouse and Frazer Irving. The series picks up from ''Final Crisis'' #6. The series detailed the journey Bruce Wayne takes through the timestream of the DC Universe after being deposited in the distant past by Darkseid in '' Final Crisis''. Wayne has to overcome amnesia and "history itself" in order to make his way back to present-day Gotham City and retake his rightful place as Batman. The series ran for six issues, each covering a different time period. "Batman: Battle for the Cowl" is a 2009 comic book storyline published by DC comics, consisting of an eponymous, three issue miniseries written and penciled by Tony Daniel, as well as a number of tie-in books. Batgirl is the name of several superheroines appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, depicted as female counterparts and allies to the superhero Batman.
