Lee Dror
Lee Dror (; born 1989) is an independent animation filmmaker and visual artist based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her artistic style blends traditional techniques with exploration of themes such as family, grief, belonging and femininity. She is a graduate of the Screen-Based Arts Department in Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where she earned her Bachelor degree of Fine Arts (B.F.A.). Recognition Lee Dror has received recognition for her work in animation, the most recent of which is the inclusion of ''Pisces'' in the longlist for the 2024 Academy Awards in category of "Best Animated Short Film". Bezalel Academy Of Arts And Design
Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design () is a public college of design and art located in Jerusalem. Established in 1906 by Jewish painter and sculptor Boris Schatz, Bezalel is Israel's oldest institution of higher education and is considered the most prestigious art school in the country. It is named for the Biblical figure Bezalel, son of Uri (), who was appointed by Moses to oversee the design and construction of the Tabernacle ( Exodus 35:30).
