Ledo Arroyo Torres (1894–1975) was a Uruguayan notary and politician. Background and government roles Arroyo was a member of the Uruguayan Colorado Party, which ruled the country for long periods. He was Minister of Economy and Finance from 1947 to 1949, and served as Minister of National Defence from 1952 to 1954. Later roles He was President of the Senate of Uruguay from March 1, 1955 to March 1, 1959. He was Minister of Economy and Finance from 1956 to 1957. From 1959 until 1963, he served as minority member of the National Council of Government (Uruguay). He later served on Montevideo's City council. Japhet Yao Ledo is a former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (E.P. Church). He served as moderator of the church from January 1993 to January 2001, when he was replaced by Livingstone Komla Buama. Ledo hails from Klefe in the Volta Region of Ghana, just as his successor Buama. Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo
Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo (11 December 1781 – 9 May 1847) was a Brazilian journalist and politician. He was active in the freemasonry movement in Brazil. He was one of the leaders of the more liberal and democrat faction during the confused period around the time of the declaration of independence of Brazil in 1822. Early years Joaquim Gonçalves Ledo was born in Cachoeiras de Macacu, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 11 December 1781. His parents were Antonio Gonçalves Ledo and Maria dos Reis. At the age of fourteen he went to Portugal to complete his secondary education, and then enrolled at the University of Coimbra to study medicine. When his father died in 1808 Ledo cut short his education and returned to Brazil. He found a job as a clerk in the army arsenal. On 10 April 2023, she was selected as Secretary of Social and Human Development for the State of Guanajuato. Miguel Ledo Elvira (26 October 1990 – 4 November 2024) was a Spanish footballer who played as a centre-back. He spent most of his career from 2009 to 2022 with SD Logroñés. Porfirio Alejandro Muñoz Ledo y Lazo de la Vega (23 July 1933 – 9 July 2023) was a Mexican politician. He was one of the founders of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), and served as Ambassador to Cuba from January 2022 until his death. Ricardo Julio Ledo (born September 10, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Beirut Club of the Lebanese Basketball League.
