Ábrahám Lederer
Abraham Lederer (; January 9, 1827, Libochovice, Bohemia  – September 17, 1916, Budapest) was an educator and writer in Austria-Hungary. Life He was born in Libochovice, Bohemia. In 1840 he went to Prague, where he studied at the Teachers' Seminary and at the university. In 1853 he taught at Břeclav, Moravia and in 1854 he accepted the post of director of the Jewish school at Tata, Hungary, whence he was called to the ''Israelitische Musterschule'' in 1857, becoming in the following year director of the Israelitic Teachers' Seminary at Budapest. Lederer contributed much to pedagogics in general, and to the training of Jewish teachers in Hungary in particular. He was the founder and organizer of the Jewish normal school (''"Landes-Präparandie"''), of the Jewish National Teachers' Association, of the national pedagogical museum, of the Women's Industrial Association, and of the vacation colony for children. Ignaz Freiherr Von Lederer
Ignaz Freiherr von Lederer (Vienna, 25 August 1769 – Hütteldorf, Vienna 10 September 1849) was an Austrian Field Marshal. Biography He was the son of Freiherr August Gottlob von Lederer and joined the Imperial Army in 1784. He fought in the French Revolutionary Wars and distinguished himself in the Battles of Ratisbon, Aspern and Wagram. Promoted to Feldmarschall-Lieutenant in 1813, he led a division in the War of the Sixth Coalition. In the Battle of Leipzig, he fought on the left bank of the Pleiße, under command of Louis William, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg. After crossing the Rhine, he commanded the avant-garde of the southern Army, and gained victories at Saint-Georges, Limonest and Saint-Romans. He received the Knight's Cross in the Military Order of Maria Theresa. In June 1815, he participated in the Siege of the city of Belfort, under command of General Colloredo-Mansfeld. Otto Lederer
Otto Lederer (May 17, 1886 – September 3, 1965) was a Czech-American film actor. He appeared in 120 films between 1912 and 1933, most notably ''The Jazz Singer'', the first full-length film to have sound sequences, and the Laurel and Hardy short '' You're Darn Tootin'''. Lederer was born in Prague. In 1925, He married Segunda Yriondo. They were divorced on July 10, 1929. Prior he was married to german actress Gretchen Lederer. Both had a son together (1908–1940). Michael Lederer (born July 9, 1956 in Princeton, New Jersey) is an American playwright, screenwriter, novelist, short story writer, poet, and essayist currently living in Berlin, Germany. Biography Early life Michael Lederer was born in Princeton, New Jersey, where his father Ivo John Lederer, Ivo Lederer taught contemporary Russian and East European diplomatic history at Princeton University.
