Radu Lecca
Radu D. Lecca (February 15, 1890–1980) was a Romanian spy, journalist, civil servant and convicted war criminal. A World War I veteran who served a prison term for espionage in France during the early 1930s, he was a noted supporter of antisemitic concepts and, after 1933, an agent of influence for Nazi Germany. While becoming a double agent for Romania's Special Intelligence Service (SSI), Lecca was involved in fascist politics, gained in importance during World War II and the successive dictatorships, and eventually grew close to ''Conducător'' Ion Antonescu. After 1941, Lecca was Commissioner, later Commissioner General, tasked with solving the "Jewish Question" in Romania, sharing Romania's responsibility for the Holocaust. Constantin Lecca
Constantin Lecca (; 4 August 1807 – 13 October 1887) was a Romanian painter and art professor. He was the first Romanian artist to create Western-style religious paintings. Although he worked in a variety of genres, including history painting, he is best known for his portraits. Biography He was born into a family of merchants. In 1827, he went to Buda to study painting, but it is not known where or with whom he studied, so he may have been essentially self-taught. Dimitrie Lecca
Dimitrie Lecca (2 December 1832–4 July 1888) was a Moldavian-born Romanian officer and politician. Biography Born in Tecuci, he was the son of ''paharnic'' (royal cup-bearer) Gheorghe Lecca (said to be a descendant of Leca of Cătun) and of Maria Negură; he had a sister, Ruxandra, and two brothers, Ioan and Gheorghe Lecca, Gheorghe. He studied at the School of Applied Artillery, École d'application de l'artillerie et du génie in Metz and at the in Saumur from 1852 to 1853. After returning home, he entered the Moldavian Army, soon to become the Romanian Land Forces, Romanian Army, and was made a major in 1863. Leca or Lecca of Cătun, also known as Leca of Leurdeni, Leca Rudeanu, Comisul Leca, Aga Leca or Postelnico Leka (? – February or March 1616), was a Wallachian political figure, prominent under Princes Michael the Brave, Radu Șerban, and Radu Mihnea. Originally a ''Comis'', his first major assignments came during Prince Michael's conquest of Transylvania, when he also submitted to, and fought for, the Holy Roman Empire. Leca was a commander of Wallachian troops in Michael's battles at Mirăslău (1600) and Guruslău (1601), returning to Wallachia after Michael's assassination. Leca was a ''Postelnic'' and diplomat during Prince Radu Șerban's eight-year reign, following the court into its exile to Moldavia (1610–1612). Gheorghe Lecca (10 April 1831–30 August 1885) was a Moldavian-born Romanian politician. Born in Bacău, he was the son of '' paharnic'' (royal cup-bearer) Gheorghe Lecca (reportedly a descendant of Leca of Cătun), who died the year after the son was born; and of Maria Negură. Together with his brothers Ioan and Dimitrie, he attended the Cavalry School at Saumur. After returning home in 1854, he took part in the Crimean War. Celso Garrido-Lecca (born 9 March 1926) is a Peruvian composer. He was born in Lima and studied composition with Rodolfo Holzmann in Peru's National Conservatory. He concluded his studies in Chile. He was admitted into Universidad de Chile's Theatre Institute as composer and music advisor, and worked there for 10 years.
