Leave Me Alone (Hanna Pakarinen Song)
Finland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Leave Me Alone" written by Martti Vuorinen and Miikka Huttunen. The song was performed by Hanna Pakarinen. In addition to participating in the contest, the Finnish broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle) also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest after winning the competition in 2006 with the song "Hard Rock Hallelujah" performed by Lordi. Yle organised the national final ''Euroviisut 2007'' in order to select the Finnish entry for the 2007 contest in Helsinki. 12 artists with two songs each were selected to compete in the national final, which consisted of four semi-finals and a final, taking place in January and February 2007. Hanna Helena Pakarinen (born 17 April 1981) is a Finnish pop and pop-rock singer who rose to fame as the winner of the first series of the Finnish singing competition '' Idols'' in 2004. Beats and Styles is a Finnish pop/ rock/rap group led by DJ Alimo and in the past also DJ Control, whose real name is Jaakko Manninen. Katri Helena Kalaoja (née Koistinen, born 17 August 1945) is a Finnish singer. Career Katri Helena released her first songs in 1963 and has since sold over 630,000 certified records, which makes her the second-best-selling female soloist in Finland behind Madonna and places her also among the top 20 best-selling music artists in the Finnish market. She has represented Finland twice in the Eurovision Song Contest: in 1979 with her song "Katson sineen taivaan" and in 1993 with "Tule luo". Finland was represented by Katri Helena, with the song "Tule luo", at the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 15 May in Millstreet, Ireland. Thunderstone is a power metal band from Helsinki, Finland. The band was formed in 2000 by guitarist Nino Laurenne and the line-up became complete in the following year. History Lovex started officially in 2001–2002, when several musicians who had previously played in other bands, decided to start their own band to play rock music and have fun. Katra is a Finnish symphonic metal band founded by vocalist . Members Katra Anniina Solopuro (born 10 August 1984 in Tampere, Finland) has been studying piano since the age of 6. At 14 she switched to voice lessons. Today she studies singing and theatre music in Tampere University of Applied Sciences. She also has a background in dance and gymnastics.
