''Le robe che ha detto Adriano'' () is a compilation album by Italian singer Adriano Celentano, released in 1969 on his label Clan Celentano Clan Celentano is an Italian record label founded by Adriano Celentano in the early 1960s. Artists who have recorded for the label include Don Backy, Fred Bongusto, Milena Cantù, Adriano Celentano, Maria Luigia Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts .... (The album includes several new songs but is listed as a compilation on Celentano's official website.) All the songs on this album address the current issues of that time. According to the book ''Adriano Celentano. Incorrigible Romantic and Rebel'', the album can be seen as the basis for the singer's subsequent work. Adriano Celentano (; born 6 January 1938) is an Italian singer-songwriter, actor, showman, and filmmaker. He is dubbed ''Il Molleggiato'' ('the springy one') because of his energetic dancing. Celentano's many albums frequently enjoyed both commercial and critical success. Clan Celentano is an Italian record label founded by Adriano Celentano in the early 1960s. Artists who have recorded for the label include Don Backy, Fred Bongusto, Milena Cantù, Adriano Celentano, Maria Luigia Brett Marvin and the Thunderbolts, Ola & the Janglers, Valeria Rigano, Anthony Swete and Johnny Tame. Background In 1962, Adriano Celentano left SAAR and formed the Clan Celentano record label. Founded in March that year, the label set about finding new artists. The first releases were Italian the version of the Gene McDaniels' song, " Tower of Strength" ("Stai Lontana Da Me") and "Sei Rimasta Sola". Both records were Top 20 chart successes. The label originally rejected a singer called Agaton. They weren't interested in his recorded music either. But, Milena Cantù who was Adriano Celentano's current girlfriend wanted to hear the recordings again. As a result, they signed him up and gave him a new stage name of Don Backy. ''Adriano rock'' is a studio album by Italian singer Adriano Celentano, released shortly before Christmas of 1968 on his label Clan Celentano. Overview Unlike the previous albums that mostly consisted of songs that had been previously released on singles, this one was the first Celentano's album containing all new material. The songs "Il grande sarto" and "Napoleone, il cowboy e lo zar" were later remade under different titles and with slightly different lyrics for the albums ''Le robe che ha detto Adriano'' and ''Il re degli ignoranti''.
