''Le dictateur et le champignon'', written and drawn by Franquin, is the seventh album of the ''Spirou et Fantasio'' series. Story When the Marsupilami causes chaos all over Champinac on the Sticks, Spirou and Fantasio decide that it is time to take him back to his home in the Palombian jungles. After an eventful journey by cruise ship, they find that Fantasio's shady cousin Zantafio has reinvented himself as General Zantas and become the country's ruthless and chariasmatic dictator. The now power-mad Zantafio, intent on invading a neighbouring country, offers them top positions in his army. When they indignantly refuse, Zantafio throws them in jail. ''Spirou et les héritiers'', written and drawn by André Franquin, Franquin, is the fourth album of the ''Spirou et Fantasio'' series, and a great leap in the expansion of the Spirou universe. After serial publication in ''Spirou (magazine), Spirou'' magazine, it was released as a complete hardcover album in 1952. Story In ''Spirou and the Heirs'', Fantasio is told he must compete against his cousin Zantafio to inherit from a long-absent uncle. The deceased has devised three trials for the two men: creating an original and useful invention, achieving a top 6 Grand Prix race position, and finally capturing a mysterious animal, the Marsupilami in the Palombian jungle. The dishonest Zantafio uses extreme tactics to win, and the two cousins are tied after the second task. The third task proves the hardest, as the creature's prodigious reflexes and abilities make it impossible to capture, until it accidentally drinks a gallon of heating oil. ''Franquin's Last Laugh'' () is a collection of black comedy comic strips drawn by André Franquin, written by Franquin and Yvan Delporte. The one-page stories first appeared frequently in 1977, in the brief run of the '' Spirou'' magazine supplement, ''Le Trombone illustré''. After this initiative was cancelled, ''Idées noires'' resumed publication in the magazine ''Fluide Glacial'', upon Gotlib's suggestion, where it remained a fixture until 1983. ''Gaston'' is a Belgian gag-a-day comic strip created in 1957 by the Belgian cartoonist André Franquin in the Franco-Belgian comics magazine '' Spirou''. The series, serving as a spin-off of the magazine's primary series ''Spirou et Fantasio'', focuses on the everyday life of Gaston Lagaffe (whose surname means "the blunder"), a lazy and accident-prone office junior who works at ''Spirous office in Brussels. Zorglub is a fictional character in the Belgian comic strip ''Spirou et Fantasio'', created by Greg and André Franquin, and first appeared in the serialised story ''Z comme Zorglub'' in '' Spirou'' magazine in 1959, later published in the diptych albums ''" Z comme Zorglub"'' (1961) and ''"L'ombre du Z"'' (1962).
