Lawrence Nycholat
Lawrence D. Nycholat (born May 7, 1979) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers, Washington Capitals, Ottawa Senators, Vancouver Canucks and the Colorado Avalanche. Playing career As a youth, Nycholat played in the 1992 and 1993 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with the Calgary Flames, Calgary Junior Flames minor ice hockey team from Crowchild, Alberta. After playing midget hockey with Notre Dame of the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League, SMHL, he joined the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League for a four-year tenure, beginning in 1996–97 WHL season, 1996–97. In his final year with the Broncos, 1999–2000 WHL season, 1999–2000, he recorded a junior hockey, junior career-high 80 points in 70 games. The Western Hockey League (WHL) is a junior ice hockey league based in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Hartford Wolfpack
The Hartford Wolf Pack are a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. A member of the American Hockey League (AHL), they play their home games at the PeoplesBank Arena. The team was established in 1926 as the Providence Reds. After a series of relocations, the team moved to Hartford in 1997 as the Hartford Wolf Pack. It is one of the oldest professional hockey franchises in existence, and the oldest continuously operating minor league hockey franchise in North America. The Houston Aeros were a professional ice hockey team in the International Hockey League (IHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL). Jackson Bandits
The Jackson Bandits were a minor league professional ice hockey team and member of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). The Bandits played at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi between 1999 and 2003. Previously the franchise played as the Chesapeake Icebreakers in Upper Marlboro, Maryland prior to their relocation following the 1998–99 season.
