Lawrence Emmanuel
Lawrence Oloche Emmanuel is a Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder of Promiseland Estate. In May 2023, he was conferred with the national honour as Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) by the then President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, for his contribution to real estate in Nigeria. Early life and education Emmanuel is a graduate of marketing from the University of Lagos. He was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from American Management University. Career Before founding Promiseland Estate, Emmanuel ventured into logistics, telecommunication, power transmission and construction. Nigerian National Honours are a set of orders and decorations conferred upon Nigerians and friends of Nigeria every year. They were instituted by the National Honors Act No. 5 of 1964, during the First Nigerian Republic, to honour Nigerians who have rendered service to the benefit of the nation. Muhammadu Buhari
Muhammadu Buhari (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician who served as the president of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. A retired Nigerian army major general, he was the military head of state of Nigeria from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985.
