Lawa ( Punjabi, Urdu: لاوا) is a city and the headquarters of Lawa Tehsil of Talagang District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Talagang
Talagang ( Punjabi / ) is a city and the headquarters of the Talagang District located in Punjab, Pakistan. It is part of the Potohar Plateau and lies on the north of Salt Range and east of the Kala Chita range. Talagang is known for its literature and has produced prolific writers and poets including Dr. Satyapal Anand, who was born in 1931, in the adjoining village Kot Sarang. The area largely depends upon arid agriculture. It's famous for its peanut production which is the highest in the Potohar region consisting of around 42,000 acres of cultivation followed by Chakwal, which has around 34,985 acres. 2023 Pakistani Census
The 2023 Census of Pakistan was the detailed enumeration of the Pakistani population and the seventh national census in the country. It was conducted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. It was also the first ever digital census to be held in Pakistan, including the first in South Asian history. The census was initially held from 1 March 2023 to 1 April 2023. However, enumeration was later extended several times until 30 May 2023, because of incomplete enumeration in large cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, where people are more mobile and therefore harder to count, and in remote and rural Balochistan. The extension was also used by PBS officials and census takers for quality reviews, to check if all households and people were properly counted in each area. Danda Shah Bilawal
Danda Shah Bilawal is a village in Punjab, Pakistan, Punjab, Pakistan located on the midway on the main road linking Mianwali and Talagang. It is a local trade centre for surrounding villages owing to its location. Etymology ''Danda'' means "small hill" while ''Shah'' comes from the name of a local saint Noori Shah Sultan Bilawal. Noori Shah visited this village and then stayed here. Bilawal was a blacksmith who was a native of Danda and host of Noori Shah Sultan.
