Laurin Böhler
Laurin Boehler (born 4 January 1995) is an Austrian judoka. Judo career Boehler is a bronze medalist from the 2019 Judo Grand Slam Düsseldorf in the 100 kg category. During the next few years Böhler suffered three Anterior cruciate ligament injury, ACL ruptures and a spinal disc herniation. He collected 1625 points in the International Judo Federation, IJF Olympic Ranking and did not qualify for the Summer Games in Tokyo with rank 38 in his weight class. After winning the Bronze Medal at the 2024 Judo Grand Prix Linz, Boehler revealed in an interview with ORF (broadcaster), ORF that he had been attacked by his teammate Wachid Borchashvili in August 2023. He complained that the consequences had been too lenient and that the training atmosphere had worsened since then. He collected 1720 points in the International Judo Federation, IJF Olympic Ranking and did not qualify for the Summer Games in Paris with rank 34 in his weight class. Lubjana Piovesana
Lubjana Piovesana (born 3 January 1997) is a British and Austrian judoka. She has won two gold medals in Judo Grand Slam events and took part in the 2024 Summer Olympics. Judo career Piovesana is the 2018 U23 European Champion. In 2019 she was the youngest judoka from Great Britain on the IJF World Tour. Wachid Borchashvili
Wachid Borchashvili (born 24 September 1998) is an Austrian judoka and four-time Austrian judo national champion. He holds the rank of Shodan. Biography Borchashvili won his first European Open in Oberwart in February 2020. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he finished 5th at the European Open in Zagreb in May 2021. Qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games After competing in these competitions in the weight class -81 kg, he tried to gain a foothold in the higher weight class -90 kg the next year. Although he was able to achieve both 3rd and 7th place in Grand Prix events, he decided to compete in the qualification tournaments for the 2024 Olympic Games in the weight class -81 kg in 2023.
