Lauren Flax
Lauren Flax is an American DJ, songwriter, and record producer. Flax currently is a member of the Brooklyn-based band Creep with Lauren Dillard. Flax was also the Fischerspooner tour DJ from 2008 to 2011. In 2009, Flax released her first single as a solo artist, titled "You've Changed" featuring vocals by Sia. In 2010, Sia re-recorded " You've Changed" and released it as the first single from her album ''We Are Born''. Creep self-released their debut record ''Echoes'' on Creep Intl on 11/12/13. The Xx
The xx are an English indie rock band from Wandsworth, London, formed in 2005. The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC, record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar). They are known for their distinctive minimalist sound blending indie rock, indie electronic, indie pop, dream pop and electro-rock and the dual-vocalist set-up of Madley Croft and Sim. Their music employs soft echoed guitar, prominent bass, light electronic beats and ambient soundscape backgrounds. Acid House
Acid house (also simply known as just " acid") is a subgenre of house music developed around the mid-1980s by DJs from Chicago. The style is defined primarily by the squelching sounds and basslines of the Roland TB-303 electronic bass synthesizer-sequencer, an innovation attributed to Chicago artists Phuture and Sleezy D circa 1986. Le Tigre (, ; French for "The Tiger") is an American art punk and riot grrrl band formed by Kathleen Hanna (of Bikini Kill), Johanna Fateman and Sadie Benning in 1998 in New York City.
