Laure Sansus
Laure Bourdon Sansus (née Sansus, born 21 June 1994) is a former French rugby union player. Biography Originally from Toutens, she attended the rugby school of Labastide-Beauvoir. She then joined the Saint-Orens rugby féminin before being recruited by l'Avenir Fonsorbais rugby féminin (which later became Stade toulousain). On 6 February 2016, in Bourg-en-Bresse, she made her international debut for France in a 39-0 victory over Italy. Sansus paused her career during the 2017-18 season, before returning to play with Stade toulousain for the 2018-19 season. That season, she made her first appearance in the French women's rugby championship, as Stade toulousain lost 22-13 to Stade Maurice-Trélut. She was nominated for the 2021 World Rugby Player of the Year. She was named the Best Player of the 2022 women's Six Nations, leading the competition in tries. Toutens
Toutens (Occitan: ''Totens'') is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in Southwestern France. History Toutens was originally a "seigneurie" or Lord of the Manor. In turn this lordship was originally a dependency of the barony of Beauville. It was detached in favour of the De Ver family in 1463 whose descendants by marriage, the De Puybusque, became the Marquises of Toutens. The De Ver family had lived in a château in Toutens since before the mid-16th century, certainly before 1554 and possibly 1503 or even earlier. Stade Maurice Trélut is part of the Tarbes sports complex in Tarbes, France. It comprises a main stadium with a capacity of 16,400 of which 12,000 places are seated. The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the Rugby World Cup (women), women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
