Lasteika
Lasteika (, also: Λασταίικα ''Lastaiika'') is a village and a community in the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. It is situated at the foot of a low hill, 4 km northwest of the centre of Pyrgos. It is 2 km southwest of Agios Georgios, 2 km northeast of Vytinaiika, and 3 km southwest of Prasino, in the municipal unit Iardanos. The Greek National Road 9/ E55 (Patras - Pyrgos) passes southwest of the village. The community consists of the villages Lasteika and Itia. Pyrgos () is a city in the northwestern Peloponnese, Greece, capital of the regional unit of Elis (regional unit), Elis and the seat of the Municipality of Pyrgos. Agios Georgios (, named for Saint George) is a community in the municipality of Pyrgos, Elis, Greece. It is situated at the foot of low hills, 3 km north of the centre of Pyrgos, 2 km northeast of Lasteika and 2 km southeast of Prasino, in the municipal unit Iardanos. Western Greece Region (, ) is one of the thirteen Modern regions of Greece, administrative regions of Greece. Elis (regional Unit)
Elis also known as Ellis or Ilia (, ''Eleia'') is a historic region in the western part of the Peloponnese peninsula of Greece. It is administered as a regional unit of the modern region of Western Greece. Its capital is Pyrgos. Until 2011 it was Elis Prefecture, covering the same territory. The modern regional unit is nearly coterminous with the ancient Elis of the classical period. Here lie the ancient ruins of cities of Elis, Epitalion and Olympia, known for the ancient Olympic Games which started in 776 BC. Iardanos
Iardanos () is a former municipality in Elis, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pyrgos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 62.723 km2. Its seat of administration was the village Vounargo. Iardanos is enclosed by the municipal units of Amaliada to the north, and Pyrgos to the south. Greek National Road 9
Greek National Road 9 (, abbreviated as EO9) is a single carriageway with at-grade intersections in the West Greece and Peloponnese regions. It runs along the west coast of the Peloponnese peninsula, from Patras to Methoni via Pyrgos. Its length is around , making it the second-longest national highway of Greece. The government of Greece plans to replace the road by a new motorway. This will be a southern extension of the A5 (Ionia Odos), which will connect the Albanian border near Ioannina with the A7 (Moreas) north of Kalamata.
