Last Stop Suburbia
''Last Stop Suburbia'' is Allister's third release on Drive-Thru Records and second studio album, released on October 8, 2002. Recording In November 2001, Allister played a few US shows with Reel Big Fish. The band planned to enter the studio in December. The band was in the studio from February 18, 2002 and planned to finish on March 18. Instead, the band finished recording on May 9. Sessions were held at Standard Electrical Recorders in Venice Beach, California, with producer and engineer Chris Fudurich; Ryan Baker did additional editing. Steve Evetts mixed the recordings at Trax East in South River, New Jersey, before the album was mastered by Stephen Marcussen at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California. Allister Albums
Allister is an American pop punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The four-piece formed in 1994 when the original band members were still in high school, and was originally named Phineas Gage. In 1998 Allister became one of the first bands to sign to Drive-Thru Records. They went on hiatus in 2007, then reunited in 2010, and have been touring and recording again since. Split Habit
Split Habit was a power pop band founded in Lemont, Illinois in 1997. Overview The original line-up consisted of Travis Brown (lead vocals/bass), Johnny Smoke (guitar, cool-sounding name, backing vocals) and Chris Michaels (drums). The band recorded a four-song demo and began playing small all ages and 21 and up venues around Illinois. Split Habit released an Extended play, EP, ''Broken Strings, Broken Sticks and Broken Hearts'' which was shortly thereafter incorporated into the band's first full-length CD ''Rockstar 101''.
