Last Scene (EP)
''Last Scene'' is the third extended play, EP by South Korean singer and songwriter Chen (singer), Chen. It was released in digital and physical format by SM Entertainment and distributed by Dreamus on November 14, 2022. The EP features six tracks in total, including the lead single of the same name. Background After serving one and half years in Conscription in South Korea, mandatory military service, Chen was officially discharged from his duties on April 25, 2022, after enlisting back on October 26, 2020. Four months later, he made appearances at SM Town Live 2022: SMCU Express concert from August 20–29 in Suwon's Suwon World Cup Stadium, World Cup Stadium and in Tokyo Dome, performing "Beautiful Goodbye (Chen song), Beautiful Goodbye", one of his previously released singles. On October 10, Exo's official Twitter account announced that Chen will release a mini-album called ''Last Scene'' that will be released on October 31, marking Chen's first comeback since ''Dear My Dear' ... Chen (singer)
Kim Jong-dae (; born September 21, 1992), better known by his stage name, Chen (), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Exo, its subgroup Exo-M and its subunit Exo-CBX, and participated in SM Entertainment, SM's projects SM the Ballad. He is predominantly known for his role as the vocalist of Exo. Apart from his group's activities, Chen has also recorded songs for various Korean drama, television dramas, most notably "Best Luck" for ''It's Okay, That's Love'' (2014) and "Everytime" for ''Descendants of the Sun'' (2016). In 2019, Chen debuted as a solo singer with the extended play (EP) ''April, and a Flower'', which peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and spawned the hit single "Beautiful Goodbye (Chen song), Beautiful Goodbye".
