Lars Uno Thulin
Lars Uno Thulin (25 March 1939 – 14 March 2002) was a Norwegian engineer, civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Uddevalla, Sweden, but grew up in Fredrikstad. He studied at the Norwegian Institute of Technology where he took a siv.ing. degree. He later took a doctorate in thermodynamics. From 1975 to 1976 he was a part of Bratteli's Second Cabinet as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Church and Education. From 1976 to 1977 in Nordli's Cabinet he was a State Secretary in the Ministry of Industry. From 1977 to 1989 he worked in the bank Den norske Creditbank, from 1981 to 1989 as vice chief executive. He served as the permanent under-secretary of state in the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the highest-ranking bureaucratic position, from 1989 to 1992. Norwegian Labour Party
The Labour Party ( nb, Arbeiderpartiet; nn, Arbeidarpartiet; A/Ap; se, Bargiidbellodat), formerly The Norwegian Labour Party ( no, Det norske Arbeiderparti, DNA), is a social-democratic political party in Norway. It is positioned on the centre-left of the political spectrum, and is led by Jonas Gahr Støre. It was the senior partner of the governing red–green coalition from 2005 to 2013, and its former leader Jens Stoltenberg served as the prime minister of Norway. The Labour Party is officially committed to social-democratic ideals. Bård Mikkelsen
Bård Martin Mikkelsen (born 31 May 1948) is a Norwegian businessperson. He has been the chief executive officer of Widerøe (1988–1997), the Ulstein Group (1997–1999), Oslo Energi Holding (1999–2001) and Statkraft (2001–2010). Biography He was born in Oslo, but grew up in Sarpsborg, in the neighborhood Hafslund. His father spent his career in the company Hafslund. Bård Mikkelsen took his education at the Befalsskolen for Kavaleriet and Norwegian Military Academy, and worked in the Norwegian Army, among others in Hærens Fallskjermjegerskole. As a continuation of this he has been an active skydiver, and in 1986 he became an instructor in tandem skydiving. His last dive was in 1994 over Antarctica.
