Lars Andersen (archer)
Lars Andersen (born 8 November 1964) is a Danish painter and archer. Claiming to hold a world record for speed, he is able to shoot 10 arrows in 4.9 seconds, or 3 arrows in 0.6 seconds. A private student of Otto Frello, Andersen graduated from School of Visual Art. He describes himself as a Danish painter and writer. His video posted in November 2012 went viral across the web. Another one of his videos, "A New Level of Archery", was posted on YouTube on 23 January 2015, receiving over 23 million views in one week, in which Andersen demonstrates how to shoot while holding multiple arrows in his draw hand and shooting while on the move, jumping, close up, far away and hanging upside-down. However, many of the historical and scientific claims made in the video have been contested or discredited, and few of the ideas have gained traction with other archers and internet personalities. Andersen Island
Andersen Island is an island west of Thorgaut Island, and east of Child Rocks, in the Robinson Group, Antarctica. It was mapped by the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition under Douglas Mawson in February 1931. The island was also charted from the whaler ''Thorgaut'' about the same time. It was named after Captain Lars Andersen of the whaler ''Falk'' who had assisted the ''Discovery'' with coal. 2008–09 Danish Cup
The 2008–09 Danish Cup was the 55th season of only Danish football cup competition. It was the first time since 2004 that the cup had a sponsor name: the daily newspaper Ekstra Bladet has signed a 3-year contract with the Danish Football Association (DBU), making the official name ''Ekstra Bladet Cup 2008–09''. The competition started in August 2008 with the First Round and concluded on May 21, 2009, with the Final, held at Parken Stadium. First round In this round entered 96 teams. These include 55 teams from lower divisions, who have qualified through preliminary cups held by the regional associations, 25 teams from Second Divisions 2007–08 and all 16 teams from First Division 2007–08. Lars Hedegaard Andersen (born 14 August 1975) is a former Danish cricketer. Hedegaard was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Grenå, Norddjurs Municipality. Career Hedegaard made a single appearance for Denmark Under-19s against Bangladesh Under-19s in the 1994 Malaysia International Youth Cricket Tournament. His senior debut for Denmark came in the 1997 ICC Trophy against Malaysia, with him making four appearances during the tournament.
