Larry Teague
Larry R. Teague (from Nashville, Arkansas) is a former American politician and was a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate representing District 10, which includes Howard, Montgomery, Pike, and Polk counties and parts of Clark, Hempstead, Nevada, and Sevier counties. He also served as Senate Minority Whip. He was ineligible to seek re-election in 2022 due to term limits. Teague served consecutively in the Arkansas General Assembly from January 2009 until January 2013 in the Senate District 20 seat and from January 1997 through January 2002 in the Arkansas House of Representatives District 19 seat. Personal life Teague attended Texarkana College and the University of Arkansas. He owns an insurance agency in Nashville and was previously assistant manager of the Skaggs Alpha Beta grocery store in Texarkana. Missy Irvin
Missy Thomas Irvin (born February 12, 1971) is a Republican Party of Arkansas, Republican member of the Arkansas Senate, where she has served since 2011. Irvin is a member of the Senate Ethics Committee. In 2019, Irvin and the committee censured Stephanie Flowers for calling fellow legislator Trent Garner a "wikt:dumbass, dumbass" during a debate. In 2020, the committee rejected an ethics complaint against Kim Hendren over wage issues at his business. Hempstead County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 20,065, down from 22,609 at the 2010 census. The county seat is Hope. Hempstead County is Arkansas's fourth county, formed on December 15, 1818, alongside Clark and Pulaski counties. The county is named for Edward Hempstead, a delegate to the U.S. Congress from the Missouri Territory, which included present-day Arkansas at the time. It is an alcohol prohibition or dry county.
