Lara Nalbantoğlu (born 2 October 2001) is a Turkish female sailing (sport), sailor competing in the 470 (dinghy), dinghy 470 class. She qualified to participate at the Sailing at the 2024 Summer Olympics, 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. Career Nalbantoğlu is a member of Fenerbahçe S.K. (sailing), Fenerbahçe Sailing. She competed at the Last Chance Regatta of the Sailing at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification#Mixed two-person dinghy – 470, Sailing at the 2024 Olympics Qualification for Mixed two-person dinghy 470 in Hyères, France. She qualified to represent her country in the Mixed 470 event at the Sailing at the 2024 Summer Olympics, 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, with her skipper teammate Deniz Çınar. Deniz Çınar
Deniz Çınar (; born 8 December 1984) is a Turkish yacht racer competing in the 470 class. The tall athlete at is a member of Galatasaray Sport Club, where he is coached by Edo Fantela. His brother Ateş is also a national sailor. He studied at Dokuz Eylül University. He began with sailing at the age of ten in Foça, and one year later he started to race. He became gold medalist in the Optimist class at the 1999 Balkan & Open Sailing Championship in Romania. In 2001 he won the Turkish Sailing Foundation Trophy in the Laser 4.7 class. He gained the silver medal at the Laser 4.7 World Championships held off Çeşme, Turkey. In 2007, he became Turkish champion in the Laser 4.7 class. Deniz Çınar represented his country in the 470 class event at the 2008 Summer Olympics along with his brother Ateş Çınar. NTV is a Turkish free-to-air nationwide television news channel owned by Doğuş Media Group. It was partnered with MSNBC between May 2000 and 2014. Sailing At The 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification
This article details the qualifying phase for sailing at the 2024 Summer Olympics. 312 quota places for the Games are entitled to the sailors coming from their respective NOCs, based on the results at designated regattas supervised by World Sailing. Host nation France reserves a single boat in each of the ten sailing classes, whereas four quota places (two per gender) are distributed to the NOCs competing in the men's singlehander ILCA 7 and women's singlehander ILCA 6 under the Tripartite Commission. The qualification period commenced at the 2023 Sailing World Championships in The Hague, Netherlands, where 107 places, about forty percent of the total quota, will be awarded to the highest-ranked NOCs across ten different sailing classes.
