Lara Kipp
Lara Michaela Kipp (born 4 October 2002) is an Austrian luger. Career Kipp was selected to compete at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Luge at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics – Girls' doubles, doubles, however, her doubles teammate, Selina Egle, suffered a fractured metatarsus during a training session and had to withdraw from the competition. Kipp made her international debut for Austria at the 2023 FIL World Luge Championships where she won silver medals in the 2023 FIL World Luge Championships – Women's doubles, doubles and 2023 FIL World Luge Championships – Women's doubles' sprint, doubles' sprint events, along with her doubles teammate Selina Egle. At the 2024 FIL World Luge Championships, she won a gold in the 2024 FIL World Luge Championships – Women's doubles, doubles event with a time of 1:24.761. Luge
A luge () is a small one- or two-person sled on which one sleds Supine position, supine (face-up) and feet-first. A luger begins seated, propelling themselves initially from handles on either side of the start ramp, then steers by using the Calf (leg), calf muscles to flex the sled's runners or by exerting opposite shoulder pressure to the pod.
