Langley United Soccer Association is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Langley, British Columbia that plays in League1 British Columbia. History Langley United was founded as a youth soccer club in 1926. In February 2020, the club was awarded a National Youth License by the Canadian Soccer Association. The club plays its home games at Willoughby Community Park, which it shares with Canadian Premier League club Vancouver FC. Willoughby Community Park (stadium)
Willoughby Community Park is a soccer stadium located in the Township of Langley, British Columbia, near the Langley Events Centre. In 2023, spectator stands were constructed around the existing turf field for the newly founded club named Vancouver FC. It is one of four sports fields in Willoughby Park. The stadium hosted its first match on May 7, 2023, as Vancouver FC drew 1–1 against Calgary's Cavalry FC with an announced crowd of 6,177. The Township of Langley is a district municipality immediately east of the Surrey, British Columbia, City of Surrey in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; ) is a professional Association football, soccer league in Canada and the highest level of the Canadian soccer league system.
