Langhorns
Langhorns is an instrumental surf music band from Lund, Sweden. The members are: * Michael Sellers - guitar (Sellars was previously in Swedish band The Sinners) * Martin Berglund - bass * Rikard Swardh - drums * Erik Wesser - organ The band is strongly influenced by surf music and Latin music. Some of their music has been used on Nickelodeon's cartoon ''SpongeBob SquarePants'' and on the TV series ''Sex and the City''. They are also featured in the Swedish horror film Frostbiten. Bad Taste Records
Bad Taste Records is a record label based in Lund, Sweden. The record label was one of the first labels to establish in the Swedish punk rock and punk/hardcore scene in the early 1990s, together with Burning Heart Records. The name of the label originated from the movie ''Bad Taste'' by Peter Jackson. The first release was put out in 1994, the EP ''Skate to Hell'' by Satanic Surfers. For a couple of years, they worked together with the record shop Love Your Records. Today, the label has somewhat diversified, drifting from their original exclusive punk/hardcore orientation towards a more rock/emo/rap orientation. Frostbiten
''Frostbite'' () is a 2006 Swedish comedy horror film directed by Anders Banke and written by Daniel Ojanlatva. The film takes place in a small town in northern Sweden during midwinter, making the environment perfect for vampires to hunt townspeople due to the cold weather and small amount of daily sunlight. It is Sweden's first vampire movie. Plot In 1944, during World War II in Ukraine, the remnants of the 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking are fleeing from the Red Army. Surf Music
Surf music (also known as surf rock, surf pop, or surf guitar) is a genre of rock music associated with surf culture, particularly as found in Southern California. It was especially popular from 1958 to 1964 in two major forms. The first is instrumental surf, distinguished by reverb-heavy electric guitars played to evoke the sound of crashing waves, largely pioneered by Dick Dale and the Del-Tones. The second is vocal surf, which took elements of the original surf sound and added vocal harmonies, a movement led by the Beach Boys. Dick Dale developed the surf sound from instrumental rock, where he added Middle Eastern and Mexican influences, a spring reverb, and rapid alternate picking characteristics. His regional hit " Let's Go Trippin', in 1961, launched the surf music craze, inspiring many others to take up the approach. Musical Band
