Lange Frans
Frans Christiaan Frederiks (born 12 November 1980), known by his stage name Lange Frans, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. From 1997 to 2004 he was a member of the band D-Men. Between 1997 and 2009 he was part of the Lange Frans & Baas B duo before starting a solo career. In 2019 the duo reformed and made a few appearances, but in April 2021 Baas B returned with a solo album, claiming that he and Frederiks were no longer on the same page "in terms of message". Starting in 2008, Lange Frans worked for the Dutch television station Veronica presenting programs including '' My Best Friends'', Veronica Poker, TelSell, , ''Fobiac'' and ''Face It!''. Since 2020, Frederiks has produced a podcast in which he disseminates fake news and conspiracy theories. Lange Frans & Baas B ("Tall Frans & Boss B") is a Dutch hip hop duo. Both Lange Frans ( alias of Frans Frederiks) and Baas B ( alias of Bart Zeilstra) grew up in Diemen, North Holland. Musical career 1997-2003: Underground music In 1997, after a freestyle session on a basketball court in Diemen-Zuid, the duo created hiphop collective D-Men alongside Brutus, Frans' brother. The English pronunciation of "D-Men" is similar to the Dutch pronunciation of the name of their home town. As D-Men they released their first single in 1999, entitled "Zoveel Mensen" ("So Many People"), and they won a talent hunt that was organised by Stichting Grap ("Joke Foundation") in 2001. Maurits Robert Delchot better known by his stage name Negativ (born 8 September 1982) is a Dutch rapper, actor and radio broadcaster of Surinamese origin from Amsterdam-Oost. Yesser Roshdy ( arz, ياسر رشدي, ; born 2 November 1986), better known by his stage name Yes-R, is a Dutch rapper and television presenter. He was born in Amsterdam, to an Egyptian father, and a Moroccan mother. Before going solo, he was part of the Dutch hip-hop formation D-Men.
