Landstede Hammers is a Dutch basketball club based in Zwolle. The club plays in the BNXT League, the Dutch top tier division. The club was founded as Cees Lubbers The Hammers in 1995. In 1999, the club’s name was changed into Landstede Hammers. In 2001, the club received its current name Landstede Basketbal as the team became part of the same-named educational institution in Zwolle. The home games of the club are played in the Landstede Sportcentrum. In its existence, Landstede won the DBL championship one time in 2018–19 Dutch Basketball League, 2019. In 2017, the club captured its first trophy when it won the Dutch Basketball Supercup, Dutch Supercup. BNXT League
The BNXT League is a professional basketball league in Belgium and the Netherlands. The league is the first tier in both the Dutch and Belgian system, replacing the Dutch Basketball League, DBL and Pro Basketball League, PBL. The inaugural season was the 2021–22 BNXT League, 2021–22 season, which started in September 2021. History On 10 December 2020, it was announced that the Belgian Pro Basketball League and Dutch Basketball League would merge to form a new multinational league. Kaza Kajami-Keane
Kaza Kajami-Keane (born January 27, 1994) is a Canadian-Jamaican professional basketball player for Niners Chemnitz of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroCup. He played college basketball for the Illinois State Redbirds, the Cleveland State Vikings and the Carleton Ravens. He has also competed for the Canadian national basketball team. He started his professional career in 2017, playing in the NBA G League and later for teams in the Netherlands, Germany and France. Kajami-Keane led Niners Chemnitz to the FIBA Europe Cup title in 2024, earning Finals MVP honours in the process. The 2017–19 NBB Cup () was the 51st edition of the Netherlands' national basketball cup tournament. Donar was the defending champion. ZZ Leiden won its third national cup. Format In the first, second and third round teams from the Dutch second, third and fourth division participate. From the fourth round, teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the competition. Quarter- and semi-finals are played in a two-legged format. When a team form a tier lower than the DBL played a DBL team, one win is sufficient for the latter to advance to the next round. The Basketball Cup, for sponsorship reasons the TOTO Basketball Cup and formerly the NBB Cup (), is an annual cup competition for Netherlands, Dutch basketball teams organised by the Basketball Nederland. Every team in the Netherlands can participate by signing up for the preliminary rounds. Professional basketball teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the tournament in the fourth round. From 1977 until 1990 professional teams were not allowed to participate in the competition. The tournament is organized in a knock-out format, with quarter- and semi-finals being two-legged series while the final is played in a single game. Heroes Den Bosch holds the record for most cup titles with nine titles. 2023–24 European North Basketball League was the third season of the European North Basketball League, a regional basketball competition patronised by FIBA. It was won by Bakken Bears, after defeating CSO Voluntari in the final 85–81. Teams There were 16 teams participating from 11 countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Bulgaria, Romania and UK) and the regular season was divided into two groups. Four teams from each group advanced to play-offs.
