Landskrona Municipality
Landskrona Municipality () is a Municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Scania County in Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Landskrona. The island of Ven, Sweden, Ven was added to the ''City of Landskrona'' in 1959. The amalgamations leading to the present municipality took place in 1967, 1969 and 1974. Since 1971 it is a municipality of unitary type, like all other municipalities of Sweden. The municipality, however, prefers to style itself ''Landskrona stad'' (''City of Landskrona''). An urban area or () in Sweden has a minimum of 200 inhabitants and may be a city, town or larger village. It is a purely statistical concept, not defined by any municipal or county boundaries. General elections were held in Sweden on 11 September 2022 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag who in turn elected the Prime Minister of Sweden. Annelöv is a locality situated in Landskrona Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. Background and History Annelöv Church was built in the 12th century but was preceded by a stave church.
