Landon Johnson
Landon Tremone Johnson (born March 13, 1981) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2004 NFL draft. He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers. Johnson also played for the Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions. Early life Johnson attended Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas and was a three-time All-District pick, a three time All-City pick, a two time All-League pick, and as a senior, he was the District Defensive M.V.P. Furthermore, he holds the school career record for tackles (401 ), and he was also an excellent student who graduated with a 4.0 grade point average. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Marvin Roland Lewis Jr. (born September 23, 1958) is an American professional American football, football coach. He recently served as the assistant head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Lewis was previously the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals for 16 seasons.
