Since 2008, the event has been held in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune on various dates. Landmark Limited, widely known as Landmark or Landmark bookstores, is a chain of bookstores in India based in Chennai, now wholly owned by Trent, a Tata Group company. Started as an independent bookstore, Landmark Limited became a chain store which primarily offers books, music, movie VCD/DVDs, video game consoles, PC games, video games, console games, video game accessories, toys, and magazines, as well as technology products like mobile phones, tablet computers, mobile phone accessories, cameras, camera accessories, laptops, stationery items, gift items and home products. Landmark bookstores was founded by Hemu Ramaiah. The first location opened in a 4,400 sq ft basement of a building complex and represented a modernization of bookstores in India at the time. Trent (Westside)
Trent Limited (portmanteau of Tata Retail Enterprise) is an Indian retail company, which is part of Tata Group and based out of Mumbai. Started in 1998, Trent operates Westside, a retail fashion chain, and Landmark, a bookstore chain with brick and mortar stores in various locations of India. History In 1998 Tata sold off their 50% stake in the cosmetic products company Lakmé to HUL for , and created Trent from the money it made through the sale. All shareholders of Lakmé were given different shares in Trent. Simone Tata, the chairperson of Lakmé, went on to head Trent. The reason behind the sale was that Tata saw a greater growth potential in retail, and believed that it would be much more difficult for an Indian company to release new cosmetic products in a market that had opened up to global companies. A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which players attempt to answer questions correctly on one or several specific topics.
