Landen Roupp
Landen Brice Roupp (born September 10, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024. Amateur career Roupp was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and attended Faith Christian School in Rocky Mount, and played four seasons of college baseball at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). In 2019, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. As a redshirt junior at UNCW in 2021, he started 15 games and went 8–5 with a 2.58 ERA and 118 strikeouts over 101 innings and was named the Colonial Athletic Association Pitcher of the Year. After the season, he was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 12th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft. The Arizona Complex League Giants are a professional baseball team competing as a Rookie-level affiliate of the San Francisco Giants in the Arizona Complex League of Minor League Baseball.
