Lamberto Tronchin
Lamberto Tronchin (born 27 March 1964, Preganziol) is an Italian acoustician, engineer, theorist, musician, and professor of musical acoustics and environmental physics at the University of Bologna. __NOTOC__ Biography He was graduated at University of Bologna in Civil and Building Engineering in 1992. After having studied at Conservatory of Ferrara and Venice, he received the Diploma in Piano performance at Conservatory of Reggio Emilia. Afterwards, he obtained the PhD in room acoustics in 1995 and was enrolled as assistant professor in 1999 at University of Bologna and as associate professor at the same university in 2011. He teaches musical acoustics at University of Bologna (''DAMS''). Paolo Portoghesi
Paolo Portoghesi (2 November 1931 – 30 May 2023) was an Italian architect, theorist, historian, and professor of architecture at the Sapienza University of Rome. He was president of the architectural section of the Venice Biennale (1979–1992), editor-in-chief of the journal ''Controspazio'' (1969–1983), and dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano university (1968–1978). __NOTOC__ Biography Portoghesi was born on November 2, 1931, in Rome. Wiels
WIELS is a contemporary art centre in Forest, a municipality of Brussels, Belgium. The centre opened in 2007 in the former Blomme building, which belonged to the Wielemans-Ceuppens brewery. It has three exhibition platforms with a total exhibition space of , an auditorium, studio workshops for artists-in-residence, and a café/foyer and bookshop in the former brewing hall. WIELS has no collection, instead putting on temporary exhibitions by national and international artists. It hosts nine artist-in-residency studios, for which it receives hundreds of applications every year. Cattolica
Cattolica (; ) is a town and ''comune'' in the Province of Rimini, Italy, with 16,233 inhabitants as of 2007. History Archaeological excavations show that the area was already settled in ancient Rome, Roman times. According to one legend, Cattolica received its name after Gaudentius of Rimini, with seventeen other bishops, retreated to the settlement during the closing stages of the Council of Ariminum, before Gaudentius' martyrdom. Modal analysis is the study of the dynamic properties of systems in the frequency domain. It consists of mechanically exciting a studied component in such a way to target the Normal mode, modeshapes of the structure, and recording the vibration data with a network of sensors. Teatro La Fenice (; "The Phoenix Theatre") is a historic opera house in Venice, Italy. It is one of "the most famous and renowned landmarks in the history of Italian theatre" and in the history of opera as a whole. Especially in the 19th century, La Fenice became the site of many famous operatic premieres at which several works by the four major bel canto era composers— Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, and Verdi—were performed. Richard Meier
Richard Meier (born October 12, 1934) is an American abstract artist and architect, whose geometric designs make prominent use of the color white.
