Lamb Of God (album)
''Lamb of God'' is the tenth studio album by American heavy metal band Lamb of God. The album was initially set for release on May 8, 2020, through Epic and Nuclear Blast, but was later pushed back to June 19 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ''Lamb of God'' marks the first studio album of all-new material by the band since 2015's '' VII: Sturm und Drang'', making it the longest gap between their albums, and the first to feature Art Cruz as the replacement for original drummer Chris Adler, who left the band in July 2019. ''Lamb of God'' was once again produced by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, who has worked with the band since 2006's ''Sacrament''. Lamb of God is an American heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994 as Burn the Priest, the group consists of bassist John Campbell, vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton (guitarist), Mark Morton and Willie Adler, and drummer Art Cruz. The band is considered a significant member of the new wave of American heavy metal movement. Since their formation, Lamb of God has released eleven studio albums, including two under the name Burn the Priest; their most recent album, ''Omens (Lamb of God album), Omens'', was released in October 2022. Chris Adler
Christopher James Adler (born November 23, 1972) is an American musician, best-known as a founding member and the longtime drummer of Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Lamb of God (band), Lamb of God from 1994 to 2019. He was also a Grammy Award winning member of Megadeth from 2015 to 2016, appearing on their fifteenth album, ''Dystopia (Megadeth album), Dystopia.'' He performed some touring-dates in support of that album, as well as adhering to the touring and creative obligations of Lamb of God. Adler played in several local bands including Calibra, Jettison Charlie, Grouser, and Darker Days before founding Lamb of God in 1994. It was originally launched under Harris Publications in the spring of 2000 by Tom Beaujour and Brad Tolinski, who envisioned it as an American version of ''Mojo (magazine), Mojo''. The Sisters Of Mercy
The Sisters of Mercy are an English rock band formed in Leeds in 1980. After achieving early underground fame, the band experienced a commercial breakthrough in the mid-1980s, sustaining their success until the early 1990s, when they halted the release of new records in protest against their record company, WEA. Currently, although the band operates primarily as a touring outfit, they continue to perform new and unreleased music live.
