Lal Mohan Hansda
Lal Mohan Hansda (born 3 December 1983 in Jharkhand) is an Indian football player who plays as a forward for Prayag United S.C. in the I-League. Career Before playing for Prayag United S.C. Hansda played for the Jharkhand football team in the Santosh Trophy for many years, and then the Railways football team in the 2012 Santosh Trophy. Hansda also played club football for the South Eastern Railways for which he won the Inter-Railway Football Championship in 2007 after defeating South East Central Railway 2–0 with Hansda scoring the second goal for South Eastern Railway. He also played for Pathachakra in the fifth division of Kolkata Football before joining Prayag United. Prayag United In September 2012, Hansda signed with Prayag United of the I-League. Santali People
The Santal or Santhal are an Austroasiatic speaking Munda ethnic group in South Asia. Santals are the largest tribe in the Jharkhand and West Bengal state of India in terms of population and are also found in the states of Odisha, Bihar and Assam. 2012–13 I-League
The 2012–13 I-League was the sixth season of the I-League, the Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 6 October 2012 and finished on 12 May 2013 with Churchill Brothers crowned champions in matchday 25. Dempo were the defending champions, having won their third I-League title the previous season. On 29 December 2012, Mohun Bagan were barred from competing in the I-League for 2 years following a decision taken by the I League core committee. This was because they failed to turn up in the second half of the match against East Bengal because of crowd trouble.
