''Lal Darja'' (English language: ''The Red Door'') is a 1997 in film, 1997 Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali allegory, allegorical Drama (film and television), drama film about a Kolkata dentist Dr. Nabin Dutta who fears becoming a cripple. Buddhadeb Dasgupta (11 February 1944 – 10 June 2021) was an Indian filmmaker and poet best known for his Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali-language films like ''Bagh Bahadur'', ''Tahader Katha'', ''Charachar'' and ''Uttara (film), Uttara''.
