Lakhlan Choti
Lakhlan (name originated from Lakhi Jungle) is a community of eight villages(now left seven as no family of this clan is living in village Sudhiwas) in Behal tehsil, Bhiwani district, Haryana state, India. Behal and Siwani are nearby markets for these villages. Lakhlan are Jat by caste and main occupation is agriculture. This community has passion for joining defence forces and contributing towards national security. Dada Bhomiya is the totem of this clan and a huge temple is built in village Patwan. Origin place of this clan is from Lakhi Jungle. This clan moved to village Patwan in around 1200 CE. Lakhi Jungle
Lakhi Jungle is a village in the district of Bathinda in Punjab, India. It is situated 15 km from the city of Bathinda (near Goniana), on the way to Muktsar. In the 17th century, the Sikhs used the surrounding jungle (from which the village takes its name) as a hideout from persecution by the Mughal Empire and the Duranni Empire. The jungle itself has mostly been deforested. Bahal, Bhiwani
Bahal (also, Behal) is a small town in the Loharu tehsil in the Bhiwani district of the Indian state of Haryana. Situated near the town of Rajgarh on the Haryana- Rajasthan border, it lies south west of the district capital Bhiwani and south west of the National capital Delhi. And Rajiv Gandhi Stadium is on it. Bhiwani district is one of the 22 districts of the northern Indian state of Haryana. Jaat
The Jat people ((), ()) are a traditionally agricultural community in Northern India and Pakistan. Originally pastoralists in the lower Indus river-valley of Sindh, Jats migrated north into the Punjab region in late medieval times, and subsequently into the Delhi Territory, northeastern Rajputana, and the western Gangetic Plain in the 17th and 18th centuries. Patwan
Patwan is a small village in the Behal tehsil in the Bhiwani district of the Indian state of Haryana. Situated near the town of Rajgarh on the Haryana-Rajasthan border, it lies 56 kilometres south-west of the district capital Bhiwani and 162 kilometres south-west of the national capital Delhi. Mostly people in Patwan belong to Lakhlan gotra. There are more than 1000 houses in Patwan. Three people while sleeping were murdered by their own family members in 2011.
