Lake Tar
Lake Tar is a mountainous freshwater lake that is one of Iran's national natural areas and a tourist attraction in Damavand, Iran, Damavand City, located to the east of the capital Tehran. It is surrounded by the Alborz mountain range. The altitude of the site exceeds 3,000 meters above sea level. The area of the lake is seven square kilometers. The lake is the subject of numerous historical accounts, including those of its purported magical properties and the existence of buried treasures. Composition This lake, one of Iran's freshwater lakes, is situated between the mountains in the north and Zarinkuh in the south. It was formed by a landslide from Zarinkuh. Abarshiveh Rural District
Abarshiveh Rural District () is in the Central District (Damavand County), Central District of Damavand County, Tehran province, Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Sarbandan. Demographics Population At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 10,059 in 2,951 households. There were 11,492 inhabitants in 3,275 households at the following census of 2011. The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 11,567 in 3,541 households. Shemshak (ski Resort)
Shemshak is a ski resort situated to the north-east of Tehran in the Alborz mountain range. Shemshak is the second-largest ski area in Iran after Dizin and Darbansar. It came into operation in 1958. It includes two chairlifts and three surface lifts. The slopes lie at an altitude of 2,550 m to 3,050 m above sea level. The resort includes two main slopes, each with a chair lift at the apex and several lifts. There are no lighting facilities for night skiing. Location Shemshak Ski Resort is located 57 kilometers northeast of the Iranian capital of Tehran, and is located in the city of Shemshak. The ski resort is about a 90-minute drive away from Tehran. Tochal Complex consists of recreational and sports facilities in Tochal in Velenjak, in the northernmost part of Tehran. Tochal Telecabin (gondola lift) Tochal Telecabin is one of the world's longest gondola lift lines, with a length of 7500 m. The project started in 1974 by Bahman Batmanghelidj and associates and has been open to the public since 1978. Dizin () is an Iranian ski resort. It is located in the Alborz mountain range, about 70 km North from Tehran. It was established during the 1960s. Ab-o-Atash Park (, ''Pārk-e Āb-o-Ātaš''), literally the "Water-and-Fire Park", also known as the Ebrahim Park (, ''Pārk-e Ebrāhim''), is a park in northern Tehran, Iran. With an area over , the park was opened on June 27, 2009 by the 55th Mayor of Tehran, Mohammad Baqer Galibaf. Features The park has an exclusive area designed for water-playing. Cheshme Belghais Garden (or belqais spring garden) () is a Persian garden located in Charam, Iran. This garden was created in 1944. The source of garden water is several springs, four main springs located inside the garden. Alongside the main springs, it has four creeks and many mini springs. Firuzkuh () is a city in the Central District of Firuzkuh County, Tehran province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. Trout (: trout) is a generic common name for numerous species of carnivorous freshwater ray-finned fishes belonging to the genera '' Oncorhynchus'', ''Salmo'' and ''Salvelinus'', all of which are members of the subfamily Salmoninae in the family Salmonidae.
