Lake Muang Thong Thani MRT Station
Lake Muang Thong Thani station (station code MT02) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Pink Line extension to Muang Thong Thani, commonly known as Muang Thong Thani Line. The station is located above Soi Chaengwattana-Pak Kret 39, near the Impact Lakeside event space, Thunderdome Stadium and Thunderdome. It is the terminus of the Muang Thong Thani spur line. Trains arrive to this station every 10 minutes normally, but every 5 minutes during rush hour or when there are events. The Station has 4 exits. Muang Thong Thani Line is a spur line of the Pink Line, linking to the Muang Thong Thani development in the city of Pak Kret, Nonthaburi province, in Greater Bangkok. The station is located between the two sides of the Udon Ratthaya Expressway and above the traffic circle where Soi Chaengwattana-Pak Kret 39 is crossed by Popular Road (the street leading into the Impact complex). Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand or MRTA () is a state enterprise under the Ministry of Transport of Thailand. It is responsible for the operation of rapid transit systems in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region and including other provinces as defined by the royal decree. The MRTA was founded in 1992 and underwent restructuring in 2000. The Kanjanapas family () is a Thai business family of Teochew Chinese origin, belonging to the Huang/Wong (黃) clan. It owns businesses in Hong Kong and Thailand, including Stelux Holdings, Bangkok Land and BTS Group Holdings. The MRT Pink Line () is an elevated monorail line of the MRT in Bangkok and Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. The monorail line is long and has 30 stations.
