Udon Ratthaya Expressway
The Udon Ratthaya Expressway (), also known as the Bang Pa-in–Pak Kret Expressway (), is an expressway in Thailand, located in Nonthaburi province, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani province, Pathum Thani and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya provinces. The expressway is a controlled-access toll road. History Udon Ratthaya Expressway was proposed to handle road traffic for the 1998 Asian Games, 13th Asian Games which were held at Thammasat University Rangsit Campus in 1998. It was also aimed at reducing road traffic on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Vibhavadi Rangsit and Phahonyothin Road, Phahon Yothin roads leading northwards out of Bangkok. Bangkok Expressway And Metro
Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited or BEM () is a public transportation company in Thailand. It operates two MRT (Bangkok), metro lines in Bangkok and Expressway Authority of Thailand, expressways. It was formed by the merger of Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited (“BECL”) and Bangkok Metro Public Company Limited (“BMCL”) on December 30, 2015. Under 25-year concession agreements with the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand, BEM operates the MRT Blue Line, MRT Purple Line and is also set to operate the MRT Orange Line once it becomes operational. Pak Kret (, ) is a city (''thesaban nakhon'') in Nonthaburi province, Thailand. It lies in the Central Thailand plains on the east bank of the lower Chao Phraya River, bordering Bangkok to the east, Mueang Nonthaburi district of Nonthaburi province to the south, and Pathum Thani province to the north. Don Mueang District
Don Mueang (, , ; ; ) is one of the 50 districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. It is bounded by (from north clockwise): Mueang Pathum Thani and Lam Luk Ka of Pathum Thani province; Sai Mai, Bang Khen and Lak Si of Bangkok; and Pak Kret of Nonthaburi province. Don Mueang regarded as the uppermost part of Bangkok. History Don Mueang was once part of Bang Khen, but it became a district in its own right in 1989. Later in 1997, the southern part of Don Mueang was split off to establish a new district, Lak Si. Don Mueang was originally called "Don I Yiao" ('the upland of hawks'), because of the upland terrain. Muang Thong Thani ( 'golden city') is a large real estate development in Pak Kret, a northern suburb city of Bangkok, in Thailand's Nonthaburi Province.
