Lake is an Chicago "L", "L" station on the Chicago Transit Authority, CTA's Red Line (CTA), Red Line in the The Loop (CTA), Chicago Loop that is part of the State Street subway. Lake is a transfer station between the Red Line and the Brown Line (CTA), Brown, Green Line (CTA), Green, Orange Line (CTA), Orange, Pink Line (CTA), Pink, and Purple Line (CTA), Purple Lines at the station and the Blue Line (CTA), Blue Line at via the Chicago Pedway. State/Lake is an Chicago 'L', 'L' station serving the Chicago Transit Authority, CTA's Brown Line (CTA), Brown, Green Line (CTA), Green, Orange Line (CTA), Orange, Pink Line (CTA), Pink, and Purple Line (CTA), Purple Lines on The Loop (CTA), The Loop. It is approximately long and runs on elevated and at grade tracks and serves the Southwest Side, running from the Loop to Midway International Airport. Chicago Station (CTA Brown And Purple Lines)
Chicago, (Chicago/Franklin in station announcements) is an 'L' station on the CTA's Brown and Purple Lines. Located in the Near North Side neighborhood at 300 W Chicago Avenue at West Chicago Avenue and North Franklin Street in Chicago, Illinois (directional coordinates 800 North, 300 West), the station opened in 1900 as part of the original series of stations on the Northwestern Elevated. A high density of art galleries and several schools is in the vicinity of the station, including the Moody Bible Institute. Washington is an 'L' station on the CTA's Blue Line. It is situated between the and stations in the Milwaukee-Dearborn subway and is near the Richard J. Daley Center. History Washington opened on February 25, 1951, as part of the Milwaukee-Dearborn subway, the second of two subways to be constructed in Chicago. The station was entirely renovated from 1982 to 1984. 108 North State Street, often referred to as Block 37, is a shopping mall and development situated in the Loop area of downtown Chicago, Illinois. This site is defined by the square block bordered by West Randolph Street, North State Street, West Washington Street, and North Dearborn Street, originally designated as one of the city's 58 blocks. While the above-ground redevelopment has been finished, construction on an underground station was halted, leaving it only partially completed. The previous buildings on the block were demolished in 1989 for a hotly contested redevelopment plan under the then Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. The Pink Line is an rapid transit line in Chicago, run by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) as part of the Chicago "L" system. It is the CTA's newest rail line and began operation for a 180-day trial period on June 25, 2006, running between 54th/Cermak station in Cicero, Illinois and the Loop in downtown Chicago.
