Lajos Mocsai
Lajos Mocsai (; born 10 March 1954) is a former Hungarian international handball player, coach, university professor and sports director. Mocsai worked as the head coach of MKB Veszprém KC since his appointment in 2007, and beside his club team duties, he also served as the technical director of the Hungarian men's national team from February 2010, before taking over the head coach position from István Csoknyai. In the summer of 2012 Mocsai resigned from the coaching position of Veszprém to fully concentrate on his work by the national team. Two years later he resigned from the national team as well, to make himself clear for the rector position of the in Budapest. István Csoknyai
István Csoknyai (; born 24 October 1964) is a Hungarian former international handball player and the head coach of Balatonfüredi KSE. Career Club Csoknyai started his career by his hometown club Dunaferr SE in 1983, and except a short spell at Honvéd Szondi SE he stayed until 1990. Dunaferr was a yo-yo club that period and Csoknyai has experienced three relegations (1984, 1986, 1989) and three promotions (1983, 1985, 1987) during his time at the club. Despite playing for a struggling team, his impressive display have convinced KC Veszprém of being a quality player, and the Transdanubians have moved on to sign the back player. The Women's EHF Champions League is the competition for the top women's handball clubs in Europe, organised annually by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. The Nemzeti Bajnokság I ( en, National Championship I, commonly abbreviated NB I) is the premier men's professional handball league in Hungary, administered by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. Tamás Mocsai
Tamás Mocsai (born 9 December 1978) is a retired Hungarian handball player who played for MKB Veszprém KC and the Hungarian national team. Currently he serves as the mayor of Felsőmocsolád. Career Club He started to play handball at the age of 10 in Lemgo, where his father, Lajos Mocsai was in charge at that time. He spent his youth career in Germany, before debuting in the Handball-Bundesliga. His biggest success during his spell in Germany was the EHF City Cup, he achieved in 1998. Then he moved to Hungarian vice-champions Dunaferr SE, with whom he has broken the long-term hegemony of MKB Veszprém KC and won the Hungarian National Championship in his first season.
