Lajon Witherspoon
Lajon Jermaine Witherspoon (born October 3, 1972) is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist of Atlanta-based rock band Sevendust. Members from bands such as Staind, Seether, Alter Bridge, and Diecast have listed Witherspoon and Sevendust as musical influences. In March 2008, Witherspoon was ranked at number 35 in ''Hit Parader's'' "Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time". ''Black Out the Sun'' is the ninth studio album by American rock band Sevendust, released on March 26, 2013. Background ''Black Out the Sun'' marks the band's first album in almost three years. After concluding touring in support of their eighth album, ''Cold Day Memory'', many of the members spent 2012 working on side projects, with guitarist Clint Lowery and drummer Morgan Rose forming Call Me No One and releasing '' Last Parade''. Carbaryl
Carbaryl (1-naphthyl methylcarbamate) is a chemical in the carbamate family used chiefly as an insecticide. It is a white crystalline solid previously sold under the brand name Sevin, which was a trademark of the Bayer Company. Union Carbide discovered carbaryl and introduced it commercially in 1958. Bayer purchased Aventis CropScience in 2002, a company that included Union Carbide pesticide operations. Carbaryl was the third-most-used insecticide in the United States for home gardens, commercial agriculture, and forestry and rangeland protection. Clint Lowery
Clint Edward Lowery (born December 15, 1971) is an American musician, songwriter and producer, best known as a guitarist and backing vocalist in the rock band Sevendust. He has also played in Dark New Day and Still Rain, and served as the touring guitarist for Korn and Seether through most of 2007 and 2017, respectively. In 2008, he decided to work on new music as a solo artist, and the name of the project was titled Hello Demons Meet Skeletons. Lowery wrote and recorded a six-song EP while off the road with Sevendust, just for a week. He played every instrument on the CD, which was produced by his brother Corey Lowery. The EP, ''Chills (album), Chills'', was released in October, followed by a tour at the same month. He would also later release two more EPs with HDMS. John Connolly (musician)
John Connolly (born October 21, 1968) is an American musician best known as one of two guitarists in rock band Sevendust. Connolly is known for his fire-designed custom-made Les Paul guitar designed by Epiphone, but has since switched to Dean Guitars. Career Piece Dogs In 1988, John Connolly, accompanied by vocalist Greg Anderson, guitarist Mike Grimmett and bassist Kyle Sanders started a band called Piece Dogs in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1992, Piece Dogs released an LP titled ''Exes for Eyes'' through Energy Rekords. Connolly was the band's original drummer. The band genre was power and thrash metal. Piece Dogs disbanded several months after releasing the album. Morgan Jay Rose (born December 13, 1968) is an American musician, best known for being a founding member of Atlanta-based alternative metal band Sevendust. In addition to being the band's drummer, he contributes a mix of backing and unclean vocals. Outside of Sevendust, Rose has also played drums for Call Me No One and Tommy Lee's Methods of Mayhem, as well as serving as a fill-in drummer for bands such as Korn and Mötley Crüe. Sevendust is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994 by bassist Vinnie Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and guitarist John Connolly.
