Laila Novak, (born 29 January 1942 as ''Laila Linnéa Maria Nyborg'' in Nybro, Sweden, the daughter of Lisbet Peterson Nyborg and Arne Nyborg), is a Swedish model A model is an informative representation of an object, person or system. When she moved to Mexico, her acting career started taking off, which led to the leading role in the movie ''Vanessa,'' among others. A model is a person with a role either to promote, display or advertise commercial products (notably fashion clothing in fashion shows) or to serve as a visual aid for people who are creating works of art or to pose for photography. Though models are predominantly female, there are also male models, especially to model clothing. Models may work professionally or casually.
