Laila Bagge
Laila Natali Bagge (born 15 December 1972 in Lund, Sweden, as Laila Natali Cahling), formerly Laila Bagge Wahlgren, is a Palestinian-Swedish singer, manager and songwriter. Biography Her mother is Swedish and her father is Palestinian. She was signed to Motown Records in the 1990s, and released the top-40 hit "Here We Go Again" in 1998. She worked for Sony BMG New York for three years as a talent scout. Laila also found the members and developed the girl group Play which she co-managed with Mathew Knowles. Play was signed to Sony BMG New York and the group sold nearly 1 million albums. Laila has written songs for Céline Dion, 98 Degrees, 702 and Mýa. In 2007 Laila started two new companies together with Anders Bagge (songwriter & producer) and Andreas Carlsson (songwriter): Meriola Media Group AB and Meriola Songs AB. 702 (pronounced "seven-oh-two") is an American musical girl group whose most notable line-up consisted of Misha Grinstead, Irish Grinstead, and Meelah Williams. The group began their musical career as Sweeter than Sugar, formed in 1993 in Las Vegas. After years of limited success, the original quartet comprising Misha Grinstead, Irish Grinstead, Orish Grinstead, and Amelia Cruz were signed in 1995 to Biv 10 Records as 702. The group first had mainstream success following the release of their 1996 single "Steelo". Idol 2009
Idol 2009 was the sixth season of the Swedish idol series and was broadcast by TV 4. The jury, identical to the previous year, consisted of Anders Bagge, Laila Bagge and Andreas Carlsson. Peter Jihde, the show's host, was also a continuation of the previous year's cast. The audition cities visited during the spring of 2009 were Gothenburg, Gävle, Malmö, Stockholm and Umeå, respectively. Around 11,000 people applied for Idol 2009, establishing a new Swedish record. The fifth season of ''Swedish Idol'' premiered on 3 September 2008 and continued until its grand finale on 12 December, when 22-year-old Kevin Borg was crowned winner. It was the first season to feature new judges Laila Bagge, Anders Bagge and Andreas Carlsson, a move that made it the first ''Idol'' series in the world to completely replace its judging panel.
