Lai Caiqin
Lai Caiqin (, born 5 December 1966) is a former Chinese badminton player. Career Caiqin joined the Guangdong Badminton Team in 1981. Thereafter, she joined the national badminton team in 1989. In 1990 and 1991, she won the 13th Uber Cup Championship and the third place in the second Sudirman Cup. She had also won the Sports Medal of Honor. Lai throughout her career has medalled in prominent competitions such as Sudirman Cup, Uber Cup, World Cup & Asian Games. Most importantly, she won the 1990 World Cup Gold medal in Women's doubles. She also represented her country twice in World Championships in 1989 & 1991; both the times reaching Quarterfinal stage. She moved to Singapore after retiring from professional career and has since established a coaching academy through achieving notable results in inter-school tournaments (from Primary to Varsity levels). Gil Young-ah
Gil Young-ah (born April 11, 1970 in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do) is a former female badminton player from South Korea. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, she won the bronze medal in the women's doubles together with Shim Eun-jung. Four years later, at the Atlanta Olympics, she won the gold medal in the mixed doubles together with Kim Dong-moon and the silver medal in the women's doubles together with Jang Hye-ock. Gil retired from badminton after the 1996 Olympics and became an assistant coach of the Samsung Electro-Mechanics badminton team. In 2011, Gil became the first woman to be appointed head coach of a professional team in Korea. She was made Head Coach of the Samsung Electromechanics Women's Badminton Team. Chung So-young
Chung So-young (; born 20 February 1967) is a former badminton player from South Korea. She was a gold medalist at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 in the women's doubles together with Hwang Hye-young, and was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame in 2003. Career Chung started to representing South Korea in the international tournament in November 1984. She won a bronze medal at the 1987 World Championships in the women's doubles with Kim Yun-ja. Rosiana Tendean (born 25 August 1964) is an Indonesian retired badminton player. Career A doubles specialist, Tendean competed in women’s doubles with Erma Sulistianingsih at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Together, they won consecutive World Grand Prix Finals titles in 1989 and 1990, and two Indonesia Open titles in 1989 and 1992.
