Lagator Hall (Serbian: ''Hala Lagator'', Serbian Cyrillic: Хала Лагатор) is an indoor arena in Loznica. It has a capacity of 2,236 people. It was finished in 1984. It is the home arena of KK Loznica. Location The indoor arena is located in "Lagator" urban neighborhood, hence the name. With Lagator Stadium and other sports venues located in close proximity, it comprises the main sports center of Loznica. Loznica ( sr-cyrl, Лозница, ) is a List of cities in Serbia, city located in the Mačva District of western Serbia, on the right bank of the Drina river. In 2022 the city had a total population of 19,515, while the administrative area had a population of 72,062. Its name stems from the word "loza" (the Serbian language, Serbian word for ''vine''). Originally, its name was ''Lozica'' (Serbian language, Serbian for ''small vine''), but it later became ''Loznica''. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet (, ), also known as the Serbian script, (, ), is a standardized variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language. It originated in medieval Serbia and was significantly reformed in the 19th century by the Serbian philologist and linguist Vuk Karadžić. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet is one of the two official scripts used to write modern standard Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his reform on the earlier 18th-century Slavonic-Serbian script. Lagator Stadium () is a football stadium in Loznica, Serbia. The local club FK Loznica of the Serbian League West plays the home matches on it. The stadium has a total Seating capacity, capacity of 8,030 seats. Location The stadium is located in "Lagator" urban neighborhood, hence the name. With Lagator Hall (indoor arena) and other sports venues located in close proximity, it comprises the main sports center of Loznica. History The original stadium was built following the end of World War II. In 1989, the construction of a new main stand on the west side began. Most of the work was completed the following year, but the grandstand and its equipment were fully finished by 1996. In the period from 1994 to 1997, a new, completely roofed, eastern stand was built. Thanks to the redevelopment, the stadium hosted meetings of national youth teams.
